"My Lake Chelan Photos" Contest

CONTEST RULES

  1. No entry fee is required.     
  2. All entries must be received no later than September 30th, 2010. The winners will be announced in December, 2010. 
  3. Each contestant may submit no more than three photographs, which must have been taken by the contestant on or around Lake Chelan and the Lake Chelan valley.
  4. Prints can be black-and-white or color.
  5. The contestant’s name, address, and telephone number must be supplied with each photograph. It can be included in the email of digital submissions. Digital submissions must be at least 300 resolution (2100 x 1500 pixels) at 5”x7”. Submissions also accepted on CD, labeled with contestant’s name, address, and telephone number. Each contestant must supplied a completed General Release form with submissions. For a General Release form, click here
  6. Contestants must know the names and addresses of all identifiable persons appearing in their photographs, and have signed photo releases giving their approval to have the photos published. To download a release, click here.
  7. All entries once received become the property of the Lake Chelan Tourism Promotion Group and will not be acknowledged or returned.  The LCTPG assumes no responsibility for photographs. Whenever possible, photo credit will be given when images are published.
  8. Late, mutilated, or previously published photographs are not eligible and will not be considered. The Contest Chairman’s determination regarding late, mutilated, lost or previously published entries shall be final.
  9. Photographs will be judged by composition, originality, interest of subject matter, visual appeal, and the image’s ability to show Lake Chelan as a year-round destination.

Prizes will be awarded for top three images received.
The LCTPG is looking for people/action shots as well as
scenic shots of all seasons, beach and/or water sports,
event participation, activity based (golf, winery, ski, shopping, etc.).
