Lake Chelan Rodeo
July 18-19, 2008 (Always the third weekend in July)
The Professional Western Rodeo Association (Pro-West) is an association of professional cowboys and cowgirls,featuring all eight traditional events: Barebacking Riding, Saddle Bronc Riding, Bullriding, Calf Roping, Breakaway Roping, Steer Wrestling, Team Roping and Women's Barrel Racing. In addition, kids chicken race, rodeo entertainment, and Mexican Dancing Horses will be featured.
Rythms At The Lake
September 26-27, 2008
A 2-day event full of a variety of music presented at various venues throughout the Chelan area. Music includes a variety of types including; Country, Rock, Blues, Jazz, Christian, Reggae, Hispanic, folk and other.
Lake Chelan Hydrofest
September 27-28, 2008
Every September and October at Lake Chelan, several Hydroplane events are scheduled, including Lake Chelan Hydrofest which will feature 14 classes of races.
Antique & Remote Control Hydro Events
October 4-5, 2008
The Northwest APBA Remote Controlled Hydroplane Gold Cup race occurs on the Chelan River with great viewing at Riverwalk Park, October 4-5. Also that weekend at the Antique Hydroplane event, you’ll have the chance to see the oldies but goodies. Boats regularly putting in an appearance include Ms. Bardahl, Ms. Southpark, Ms. Madison, and the Ms. Budweiser.
